How long? The class will take about 45-60 minutes.

What to expect? Step into the world of insect preservation and create your own stunning display featuring the shimmery swift swallowtail. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of specimen preparation and pinning.

Each participant will:

• Learn proper insect handling and preservation techniques
• Be guided step-by-step through the pinning process
• Create their own pinned specimen to take home
• Receive the supplies needed to continue practicing at home
