How long? The class will take about 45 minutes to an hour.

What to expect? Step into the world of insect preservation and create your own stunning display featuring the mystical Atlas Moth. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of specimen preparation and pinning while working with one of the most vibrant and sought-after moths in the world.

Each participant will:

• Learn proper insect handling and preservation techniques
• Be guided step-by-step through the pinning process
• Create their own pinned specimen to take home
• Receive the supplies needed to continue practicing at home
